Elements of Worship

Believing that worship is giving God the glory, honor and praise due His name, we have identified five key areas to be included in our worship service experience in some form or another. We want to worship God in a fresh, relevant atmosphere, desiring that this worship will lead our congregation into a deeper relationship with God. Each element of our service can be seen and experienced in many ways, including, but not limited to the ways listed below.

These five elements of worship are, in a sense, a bridge that leads people to God. Worship should, first of all, glorify the Lord. A natural progression then occurs and the worship deepens relationships – first with God, and then with each other as we worship our God and our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Our hope and prayer for the congregation of Cedar Grove Community Church is blessing in worship as the five elements are employed.
