Elders—Cedar Grove’s Leaders
Our elders have the ultimate shepherd responsibility for the overseeing, care and vision of the church. We trust God to lead through these gifted men. The Bible teaches us to lovingly support and submit to their leadership (see Hebrews 13:17 and 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13).
Their primary decision-making authority includes determining our doctrinal positions, hiring pastors, setting compensation, approving the annual church budget plan, annointing of the sick, and church discipline.
