Here are the ABC's of receiving God's gift of forgiveness.
Admit my need! Agree with God that sin has separated me from Him. I need his forgiveness that he offers through Jesus Christ.
Believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Believe that Jesus' death was sufficient to pay for my sin. Believe that Jesus is alive today and is qualified to be my Savior and Lord.
Commit my life to Jesus. I transfer my trust by expressing my faith to God in prayer.

Dear God,
I know that I have sinned against you. I need your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus died for my sin and that he rose from the dead. I confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I trust you to forgive me of my sin. Please help me be a faithful follower of my Lord Jesus Christ. Amen
