Worship
Worship is an offering presented to God with a total focus on God’s character and on His work in our lives. It is an outpouring of our individual hearts in recognition and thankfulness.
Our purpose is to create a worship gathering that inspires, equips, empowers and encourages the congregation to connect with God.
Our Sunday morning worship gathering concentrates on recognizing God’s grace and love in our lives through the use of specific talents and spiritual gifts that He has given our church members. We recognize that our worship gathering is a made up of many who are serving in other areas in our church and in our community. Because of this, our worship time together is one where we will seek to connect believers with God so that their lives and souls are “recharged” for service to His church and in other areas of their lives.
First Impression Ministries
A warm, friendly group of people who begin the worship experience by welcoming and encouraging all who enter the building. Beginning with the parking lot and extending to the beginning of the service, these people help everyone feel welcome, answer any questions, and create a relaxed and open environment so that we all are prepared to “connect” with God during our worship time.
Worship Service Ministries
A group of people committed to honoring God as they participate in presentation of the morning service. This includes ushers, sound personnel, lighting and visual presentations, room decorations, temperature control, singers and instrumentalists, those who share personal interactions with God, and those who present the Word of God. Each member of the team is working toward the goal of leading each us into a life-changing experience with God that extends into our daily lives after we have left the building.
Worship Planning Committee
A group that meets twice a month to plan every aspect of the upcoming worship services. This group evaluates past services, reads comments from the congregation, organizes a list of resources, and asks for God’s guidance in crafting each worship experience.
Prayer and Family Room Ministries
A group of people meets each Sunday morning to pray during each worship service, asking God to guide those who are serving in some way and to bless all who are in attendance. In addition, we have dedicated members who serve after each worship service by being available to anyone who wants to pray or has questions or concerns following the worship time.
