LIFE GROUPS
LIFE GROUPS
Life groups are an essential part of the growth process here at Cedar Grove. Jesus himself showed us how to live life and learn together and that’s exactly what we encourage as well. Smaller groups create a sense of belonging, bring unity, and, hopefully, you have some fun along the way!
These gatherings of 3-12 people meet weekly to pray and discuss the Bible together, to encourage one another through the ups and downs of life, and to look for ways to make an impact in the world around us. If you have 2-3 friends, you can start a group today!
The next Life Group session will launch in the the week of April 14, 2024.
FORMING YOUR OWN GROUP?
Let us know who is in your group and when you will be meeting!
Also, beginning April 16th, we will offer four elective Life Groups which will meet on Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm. See the options below. (Childcare full)
A Life Group is a group of approximately 3-12 people who gather during the week to grow in faith together.
In Life Groups, you will get to make new friendships and strengthen old ones as you eat, pray, study the Bible, serve, and laugh together.
Life groups meet seasonally--fall, spring, and summer--for about 8-10 weeks at a time.
If you are meeting off campus, each group decides how they will handle childcare, if needed. Some groups have members find their own childcare individually. Some groups have a sitter for the kids while the parents meet together. Others include the kids.
If you are joining a group that meets on campus Wednesday nights, we can provide childcare.
That's okay! It sometimes takes a few tries to find a "good fit". Since our groups meet for a set number of weeks, it is easy to form a different group the next session.
